Weighted Assessments

We all worked really hard for our Weighted Assessments, right? If you did not, work harder next time! Weighted Assessments are stressful Assessments as the marks you get will be written in your Report Book. Besides, your parents will also scold you if you get low grades.

Weighted Assessments are stressful- your parents will be asking you to do lots of assessment books, and your teachers are also going to assign you lots of homework. While these assessment are quite stressful, here are some tips you can do to cope with all the stress.

  1. Work Consistently Meaning that you do not study for your exams at the last minute. Instead, you should use 1-2 hours a day to study the topics you have learnt. Revising is also a good way to study. This way, you would not have to study all the topics at the last minute as you have already studied them gradually. You only need to do a quick revise on the topics.

2. Sleep Early

Sleeping early before exams ensures that there will be enough energy think in the exams. Let's say you sleep late to study for exams, what will happen? Most likely, the next morning when you wake up, you will realize that you are very tired and cannot remember what you studied the night before.

3. Do your work

Doing your work will ensure that you understand the topics taught. Assessment books are also a good way to learn. You will do the questions in the book, then you check your answers at the back pages of the book. If you got the answer wrong, try to find out why you got it wrong and try to avoid that mistake again. This way, when your exams are coming nearer, you can look through the assessment book and revise.

You can learn time management so that you can complete your paper. Always remember to check your work after you are done. Never ever look at other people's answers. Integrity is very important!
