How to improve your sense of rythm.

Writer: Lunar WangLunar Wang

Hello, are you struggling with your percussion because you just can't get the rythm right? Then this blog is for you!

(Maybe you are struggling like my friend.)

Method 1.

listen to more pop music. That has 8 beat 16 beat. But I don't reccomend slow jazz and fast jazz. you can use other rythms as long as you don't think it is to complicated for you.

Method 2.

Clap along to your favourite songs to get your rythm. some songs are Attention by charile puth and wanderwall by oasis.

Method 3.

learn different types of rythym like swing, shuffle 1,2 and 3 and also the 8 beat ballad.

Method 4.

Watch some youtube videos that teach you rythym. they can be a lot of help

If you still have trouble with your rythym, you can also try activities like skipping to improve your rythm. But if ou have any problems, ask a teacher!
